H2otel Congress & Medical Spa

Aquatermas

A space for treatments with natural (spa) mineral water, based on a concept focusing on health, prevention and well-being (thermal spa).

The mineral water of Unhais da Serrais is a deep circulation water, its source being the highest mountain in continental Portugal: Serra da Estrela. Its chemistry is the product of percolation through granitic rocks, a blend of sodium bicarbonate, carbonated, fluoridated and sulphide water, commonly called sulphur water. Its total mineralisation is about 280 mg/l, with a conductivity of approximately 300 µScm-1 and PH of 8.5 and 8.8, with exit temperatures of around 37.5º.

Before starting your spa treatments at the Aquatermas space, you will be examined by one of our physicians specialising in medical hydrology. After analysing your clinical condition, they will advise on the most appropriate treatments for your clinical case and accompany you throughout the spa cure process to help you with your condition, prevent an ailment or ensure your well-being.

In the Unhais da Serra spas, the consultation fee is only paid once during the calendar year, which means that both follow-up consultations and other consultations on the next visit are free.
